I agree with you on this part. You have to choose between going religious, cultural, and militaristic. The strategy is even more distinguishable now with each policy tree becoming pre-requisite for some wonders. I also noticed that early iron revealing in Bronze Working quite changes strategy...

Hi Ermak, yeah I find multiplayer much better with the new patch. More stabilized. I especially like how camera angle no longer cycles at start of each turn, it usually stays on where I view at.

tried it after the new patch, and now players pillage resources for sure when in war. This makes the game setting more realistic in sense of war.

I was playing MP with 4 other players on a small continent map. As I was exploring with my warrior, I found a Spanish worker unguarded building up gold mine. So I declared war and took the worker. That was turn 24. The other player blamed me for bringing both of us down on small continent...

I find Espionage very complicated, even though I played Warlords and CivIV vanilla for more than a year :( Now there are too many things to look after, and the time runs out too fast in Blazing timer! A big headache for me! :wallbash:

I found the answer myself. It was in other thread: if it doesnt work,try this: open the"\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords\Assets\XML\Text\CIV4GameText_Warlords_O bjects.xml" with NOTEPAD replace all the "?/" to "</" save the file. Hope this helps to whoever get the same...
