    European Middle Ages Mod Resurrection

Can I suggest Magyar Horseman? Magyarok is plural and so it sounds strange. To me at least :D

    The Crusades (European Middle Ages)

I will check out the new version and upgrade the scenarios, and finish the new one, of course. Unfortunately, I had a windows reinstall and I haven't put civ4 back, yet. I will try and get some time to do the updates soon. And sorry for not being responsive recently!

It should be "TURKS", not OTTOMANS

No, the metal band, Hammerfall. Them :D

It should be "TURKS", not OTTOMANS

You forgot Hammerfall. I think that's the coolest :D :D

    The Crusades (European Middle Ages)

I have already been enlightened about that. Thx, anyway :) Well, this is the sh*t with civ. AI found cities with whatever name comes next on the list. It's a bit confusing, but we can do nothing about that. Even if a "map-compatible" city list (like no Athens) is given, AI would still mix...

    The Crusades (European Middle Ages)

Thx!. I wouldn't have noticed it on my own  You made my life a lot easier for the upcoming scenario :D

It should be "TURKS", not OTTOMANS

Of course they mean the same people! But that doesn't mean that the actual words, linguistically mean the same thing. The every-day use further complicates this. Magyar and Hungarian points to the same person, from a different approach. I pointed out that difference. I'm not a linguist, as I...

It should be "TURKS", not OTTOMANS

There may be consistency, but that is entirely false. Hungary is named Hungary after the Huns, of course. This is a name from an ethnic group that stayed on a geographic location. So Hungarian is a group of people living in the geographic location of Hungary, no matter of ethnic origin. Of...

    The Crusades (European Middle Ages)

@Drtad Byzantines should see the territory what was once theirs, at least that was how I intended. Anyway I will check all these things (reveal, contact) again and also change Armenia and Georgia to Orthodox. Thx for the city list idea, I will most certainly use it. First: can you give me a...

    The Crusades (European Middle Ages)

As I said, I too considered what religion they should be. As far as I know there were great dogmatic clashes in the early Middle Ages with the centers of Syria, Georgia and Alexandria. They were rebelling against the dogmatic ways of Constantinople, although tthey bellonged to the same empire...

    The Crusades (European Middle Ages)

Well... ok. But that does not change the fact that there were no catholicism/orthodoxy that time.

It should be "TURKS", not OTTOMANS

I have been reading this thread since the beginning. I just summarized the feelings I got from the posts, the way I interpreted them. Perhaps you didn't write "Turks are the greatest", but I got this impression from whatever you wrote instead. I did write though, that if you did not do this...
