Have you read "The divine comedy"?

One of the worst books I've ever read. It was my 'bus book', which I read on the bus and subway to and from university when I was a student. It took me a year and a half to get through it. Aside from the inclusion of Vergilius (a better writer) I didn't like it one bit.

Rest in peace, Joe Dever. I own most of his Lone Wolf books. But now it looks like my collection will never be complete.

    Robin Williams dead at 63

:( RIP Robin Williams! I know far too well what it's like suffering from depressions. :( I will always remember him from Mork and Mindy and Dead Poets Society. He was a great actor, and a very funny man. No one can replace him.

What is so good about Shakespeare?

Ah, Derek Jacobi. I remember him from I, Claudius. It looks interesting. I might watch it some time. I understand Romeo better than Hamlet, at least. Romeo has my sympathies, but Hamlet was just a jerk. It was his erratic behaviour that got himself killed. He deserved it. It isn't...

What is so good about Shakespeare?

Interesting discussion. It just so happens that I finished reading The Complete Works of William Shakespeare a few days ago. I'm still recovering from that ordeal. Seriously, I began reading Shakespeare last summer when my computer broke down, and I was without computer for months. I thought I...

Which book are you reading now? Volume XI

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. I've been reading it since last summer. I only have sixty pages left (out of 1433). It has taken me a while to get here. I suffer from a Shakespearean overdose. Reading play after play after play is a bit overwhelming. So there were periods when I had...

    Zimmerman Not guilty

Fascinating that you can get away with murder, as long as your victim is black.
