I can only guess that the Histogram represents total score or something.
The symbols - no clue what they mean.
The fact that the barbarians appear to die out even if they don't - I suspect that it merely appears that they are gone but in fact the scale is too big to see their existence...
^ Cultural is almost too easy I find.
I'd like to see some balance there. Make Cultural a bit more difficult (preferably by making the AIs smarter - i.e., use spies to kidnap GPs, etc.) and make Economic easier (such as by having the option to produce wealth once you get Banking or something)
^ But you could get that for PC for cheap.
And Battlefield 2, 2142, that free Battlefield game coming out soon if you want Battlefield action on PC (in my opinion the better BF experience - not that Bad Company is no good, I just prefer the PC BF games although the destructible environments...
Sort of in the same topic - I wish the magnifying glass showed you what the tile was at any time - would help in planning where to settle before you actually get a settler and can see the tiles with the magnifying glass that way.
Just a funny story. I tried Zulus for the first time last night, and after a few turns of exploring I came across Ghandi. I had read in the forums that he can be pretty brutal and aggressive so I thought I'd give war a shot right off the bat.
He begged me for no war and offered me a bunch of...
^ Seems like a simple solution to that problem; good thinking.
To Endure: Even if that was the reason they did it, I wouldn't think keeping out the choice altogether would be a proper way to handle that. Sure, I might know who I'm up against and plan accordingly, but I'm still playing the...
I would recommend against buying an Xbox just for this (don't want to start a flame war here, but my opinion is not pro-Xbox - let's not get into why or flaming me, it's just my opinion!)
Do you have problems with Civ IV? Too complicated or time-consuming?
Perhaps. I hope this wasn't left out simply for streamlining purposes since I don't think it will be that big of a "hiccup" to put this in. It could be as simple as a box comes up saying, "Choose opponents? Yes or no" and then you can just cancel out if you want to randomize them all.
Then if...
Small thing, but I'd like the option to choose which Civs I'll be playing against.
I would probably randomize it most of the time anyway, but so far every game I've played has had Alexander in it. I want to spread things out and I don't think it'd take anything away from the game (you could...
That would be my guess. I hope that's the case because I want the AI to be more dynamic / Civ IV-like in their realism (and sometimes utter brutality and manipulation)
