The only place I see to turn on PA is in custom game. And if I do that, then I can not change the hardness of the AI. Do you mean to tell me there is an option for turning on PA from the main options?
After getting all the techs for a PA, I don't seem to get that option available.
I have been the only member of the faith, as well as the nicest person, and yet didn't get any of the votes. Go figure. I think there is more to this than the ratings lead us to believe.
I used to just absorb my specialists into my capital thinking it woul add some kind of boost. But just recently I noticed that if I already have six, adding new ones doesn't change? I still only have 6, so are my other specialists dying, or where do they go? I am feeling somewhat jipped here...
That brings up another point. Why is it after i build the great library, I get notified 10 rounds later that I have built it. Of course I have built it.
I am not sure what causes this. But you ever notice how when you agree to peace with an AI, it still sends units after you sometimes 2 or even 5 turns after you made peace? And they will capture or destroy whatever in your path. Is this a bug, or related to chain of command?

When trying to load a save I remember seeing a screen shot folder, so i had assumed there was a built in utility. Still hunting around a bit, I don't remember reading up on this in the manual. On the other hand, I still never figured out how to re-play a save.
Those just seemed to get repetitive and serve no purpose. At least that is the way I saw it. Now, if they had it linked so the way you built a throne room changed something else within the game, then that would be something.
It has been a long time ago, but I do believe I remember reading in the manual for Civ 3 that you can never get high promotions from barbarians. If not in the manual, I read it somewhere, and I know this to be true.

My last game (Monarch) I made a ton of spies. I then continued to one by one continualy move them into a (friendly) city. There I continued to round after round after round, spend money trying to sabatage production. Not once did this ever work, and i continued this util the bitter end.
