I don't remember the whole scenario, as I just made myself a workaround and moved on. But, I do know I was in a Dark Age, and it asked me to select a policy...that is when I showed the defect. If you're with Firaxis, why a month to look at a bug thread? Marc

Hello, Very frustrating. I get that shaded out screen and I can't work around it. If I close it, I am still left with the Policy button on the bottom right and cant move beyond it. Tried restarting the game twice, and also tried different save points...still I come up with that Policy screen...

Hello, I will give this a try tonight and see how it works. The Family and I used a Quicker Turns mod for Civ IV and loved it, otherwise, even Quick games would go on for months...we got tired of that slowness (even on Quick). Thanks for making. Marc
