FAL@ How can YOU put Babylon in any tier when you have just vanilla Civ III and have missed over 10 civs and new traits?! Yes, in vanilla Babs are great civ but not anymore.

It IS a lousy UU. You don't need spearmen in this game. It also comes at wrong time.

Sumeria is better in every way than Babylonia. Babylonians main problems: Slow expansion and lousy UU.. Yes, it might be good below emperor but so are all the other civs too... :lol:

Same as usual..Lloth is demanding war, so in war they are. But that doesn't concern me, big red dragon, at all. If they come too close, I will use my devilish fire breath. NO-ONE should distract me now, I'm finally close to my first Sid win...

India is average civ, 1 good trait (commercial) and 1 not so good (religious), but Great UU should be enough to make them change places with Zulu(how is possible that Zulu is in second tier?!).

Sumeria. Most balanced civ, best choice for random game...

Own, How strange opinions you have... :crazyeye: France overpowerd..WHAT?! Its nice and good civ to play for sure, but there are many better civs around, mainly because France IS NOT agricultural civ!! Its one of the best non-agri civs though, and top tier civ in a hands of good player...

Sumeria and Iroquois are THE best civs in the game (except archipelago, where Dutch is best). I also think that Mayans are great, regardless of their average UU. Agr+ind-trait combo helps hugely in early game (growth) that is the most important part in the game. I would go even as far as ranking...

This isn't a hard choice, its extremely easy choice: Korea is by far better. Superb UU and better trait combination... Pick a more even civs next time! :lol:

It depends also which difficulty level is played. For me, easy levels, horses are better BUT in deity and sid-levels I have been much more succesful with swords+catapults...that is because you don't need to think your attacking tactics below demi-god, just ride with horses and dumb ai will...

Deity, usually standard pangaea or continents. Sid is still too difficult for me...

Arabs..expansionist is always "fun", religious means that you can change government couple of times + they have one of the best and coolest UU..so try that one with large pangaea, should be fun! :)

Artillery is the most effective "weapon" in civ3! Anyone who disagree with this is not very good player and can't win the game in deity or sid. Enough said? ;)
