I don't have the G&K expansion and it is likely because I added to it and made it too complex... Is there any way around this or should I just give up?

The loss of battery life on a PS3 controller isn't much of a big deal, I have had a PS3 for a while since it first came out and nothing with the conrollers has went wrong. Compared to the 360 controllers, they are also so much lighter.
