  • Did you ever have any experience with study abroad or internships?
I got a C in health, but other than that it went pretty well. I guess I don't think I did very well on the calc 2 final, though.
All depends on the girl you are going after, but I've found that brunch and a matinee is generally a good start to a weekend date. ;)

I had a buddy who finished a double bypass aka USA#1 burger (they made it worse the next year when it became the triple), but he looked like he was pretty sick afterwards.

I hung around campus for the most part of my time at GT too, although I started venturing out a little more on the weekends before senior design. That semester sucked. My brother has moved to the Piedmont Park area, though, and we've been hanging out when we can around there. I hear there are a couple decent bars up there, but it might be a bit far if you don't have a car (and in any case, you wouldn't want to drive home).
Ru San's used to be pretty low-priced especially for the good quality of the food you got, that sucks.

Yeah, Intermezzo is a bit of a date-scene place. It was a now-and-then place for me. Have you been to places like the Vortex yet, or anywhere around 5 Points?
I didn't really do the bar scene at all in Atlanta so I'm probably the wrong person to ask there. Underground Atlanta might be a good bet if you are into the rap scene.

Flip, off of Howell Mill, is my favorite restaurant of all time (especially given the prices; $10-15 can get you an awesome burger and fried pickles). Taqueria del Sol is nearby and that place is really good too. For brunch, I'd recommend Ria's Bluebird or West Egg Cafe. Ru San's was good for sushi, and if you want BBQ and blues go to Fat Matt's Rib Shack if you can. My brother really likes Alon's for sandwiches and Cafe Intermezzo for dessert, but I have only been to the second once.

The Juniper area also has some really good restaurants, from what I remember, but my memory is failing me now. Atlantic Station has a theatre and some more chain-style restaurants and shops, it was a pretty good place to go hang out.
