I also faced the message of GFC error: failed to initialize the primary control theme I solved it by renamed the mod to "Master of Mana", it is a solution mentioned in the initial released of MoM mod, no idea why.

Agree with you, even Esvath decided to stop, I still appreciate all his effort in this mod. It is understandable if he decided to stop since this game and the mod is just too old. However, his and the team's effort made us have a great time before.

MoM is the best mod I ever experienced in Civ series, I can say so even today with the existence of Civ 6, as I still play MoM nowadays. I am just so glad that I found many are same here. Thanks esvath and the team in developing and updating the MoM extented.
