The "World Rankings" victory conditions show the cultural victory badges fully colored in. These are always at 100%, even at turn 1. It causes the AIs to accumulate those, "We are winning. They fear us." diplomatic penalties.
I have those penalties with 3 different civs and it's only turn 25...
I have a rainforest tile in between 2 cities. My capital is 3 tiles away, and another city is 2 tiles away. If i set the capital as the tile owner, then chop the rainforest, the capital only receives production. It doesn't get any food. (The capital is size 6 and has a housing penalty, but...
They should change the description in the Civilopedia, because right now it says, "Ancient era melee unit that's effective against mounted units." Really makes it sound like a melee unit.
I see what you mean now though, "Promotion class: Anti-Cavalry". Thank you.

If not, is there some mechanism i can use while playing to...

edit: Actually it does work, it just doesn't change the text that...
Is there an event log, or a combat log, so i can see everything that previously happened? I never played Civ 5 but they were in Civ 4, so i miss having them. It's hard to remember what notifications popped up in earlier turns.
In general it's also nice to have the actual numbers so you can...
