Crusader Kings II is more like EUIV; cleaner, neater and definitely more organized than EUIII. It's also tons of fun.

Get Crusader Kings II then. Half the game is war, the other half murdering and assassinating people to get in line for succession. I would say it's more fun than EUIV

If it was a map as big as that I'd imagine that turn times would take a long while. I think that there might be an attempt to expand it (correct me if I'm wrong here), but not that large, it's not feasible for both computer and program.
