How long should I wait on buying civ 5?

While You're thinking about buying one I'll tell that I've already sold mine. Glad I was able to refund (sort of refund) at least part of my wasted money. Don't buy it tbh.

    Selling Civ 5

Thank You for all replies. Since I had no opportunity to answer earlier, here's my mass reply :) Not yet, didn't have enough time before work. I will try it though now. I did this math. Approximately 45$ for 20 hours of poor (in my opinion) entertainment. The result is 2,25$ per hour which...

    Selling Civ 5

I've purchased Civilization V some time ago (real physical copy, not digital Steam version) and I'd like to sell it. I actually own this copy and it should be possible to unregister it (or register for someone else) like a car or a house. Unfortunately - it's registered on Steam. Perfect...

    Censorship in civ 5

There are plenty historically accurate flags of Germany, Japan, Russia or even France, Poland or China to use. There is no point to use the controversial one. Also - it's not historical game, it's loosely based on history of humankind.

CIV 5 the worst letdown in PC gaming, ever.

Your opinion is completely irrelevant to mine, so I don't know why you quote me. If you trying to imply these are my thoughts - then no - these aren't. Steam would be fine as it is if people could actually unregister their games or register to someone else. Most other registered goods (flats...

CIV 5 the worst letdown in PC gaming, ever.

I like that. I despise exploiting game breaking bugs and poor designs just to win. I never cared about score or (more lately) achievement(s) (points). I really like to build empires and build buildings but unfortunately Civ5 does not deliver on this field. Buildings are very generic. Not to...

    Censorship in civ 5

It's not censorship but simple economic thinking. Depictions of some people or ideas are not allowed in certain countries (like Germany ofc) and there are many great leaders to choose from every country. Not selling this game in Germany would be extremely stupid only because authors thought of...

    How will I know........

Because it's small and downloads quickly. Your version should have updated to 1.0.0.62. You can see this in main menu below all the options. If it didn't - close Steam completely and open it again. Not that the patch changed much.

    Gripe 2: Steam

First - I meant sell like player to player without shop in between. Like eBay or other auction site for example. As for the second statement - there are plenty such shops. I remember when I visited Chester in UK, I've found such shop with used games. As for third statement - if someone want...

    Alien crop signs in CiV

This is Stonehenge built or being built. The best (or worst) is - that you see this print even through fog of war. If Stonehenge was more crucial to the game, that might have been problematic in multiplayer.

Gripe 1: Skipping the Starting Film

I disabled intro the very first day I had Civ5 - mainly because the game crashed every few turns due to some leader animation issue and had to watch parts of intro all of the time. Even with intro disabled I could wait forever with black screen or until I pressed something. That was on XP. I now...

    Gripe 2: Steam

My guess is they introduced Steam because otherwise people would massively resell their games and people responsible for this arcade game wouldn't earn as much money as they desired.
