I would say at least Mac owners have a lot more information on this game... I would expect sales on the Mac version to reflect the poor shape that CivV is in!
In my current game the size of my save game file suddenly went from around 300kb to more than 17000kb!
It now takes a long time to load and save the game and also, if I try to load the savegame and it is not the first action performed after starting Civ5 the game hangs indefinitely.
Thanks for the advice Petek :)
1. It is the planetary pack version I have.
2. SMAX works, but SMAC does not. I have updated it with the Win 200/XP update
3. I haven't done an install for a long time, I have learned that (in Windows XP) you can simply copy the installed game from...
sorry to slightly hijack the thread... I have a curious question though.... I have no problem getting SMAX to work in Win7 (64 bit) but SMAC does not.... can anyone help me?
Considering the fact that you have always been able to find technologies in goody huts in Civ, I don't see this as being anything new... nothing wrong with calling it ancient ruins instead :)
Sorry if it is listed somewhere in the thread (I haven't read it all)... but is there a way to make the Custom House in AoDII work exactly like the Custom House in the original Colonization game ??
cool, those terrain graphics look great! That'll add a lot of atmosphere to the game!
Could it be implemented that tiles with trenches cannot be worked... and that bombarded tiles and or destroyed forests give more unhealthiness in nearby cities? I think that would be a very appropriate effect...
couldn't it be based on a smiliar model like the cottages... i.e. it can develop (be developed) to give better defense and will take several hits to destroy (just like cottages).
