    More Civilisations

Hi, More Civs Team! I'm an enormous fan of your folks' work. I don't play games without at least some of your civs. It's incredibly difficult for me to pick favorites, but the Moorish, Maori, Calusa, Tibet, and Oman are some of the ones I don't usually take out of my active mods. I find that...

    Tomatekh's New Civilizations

Tomatekh, I wanted to reinforce just how much I love your civs. I just played a game with the Xia/Erlitou, and it was one of the most fun games I've had in a long time. Everything about them feels like the China civ that SHOULD be, really - everything from the incredibly diverse aspects of the...

    Bug Reports - Post Here!

For my part, I've not touched the lua files for CP since downloading the newest beta. Should I have? I am using EUI. How might I enable lua logging? The only logs I see are the database ones. EDIT: I've enabled logging now. I'll be running some tests, and I'll post the lua log results soon...

    Exploration Continued Expanded (Obsolete)

I like the crossed axes as well, though if the 'Tribes' might include things like the sufis as in the last iteration, which are sort of only loosely in the 'tribe' category, than perhaps something like a simple rough flute icon? An icon of a small wooden flute, if we could find one, would get...

    New Beta Version - February 23rd (2/23)

I thought I might crosspost this here, since this seems to be a pretty big gamebreaking bug in recent versions. For myself and several other folks with EUI, when we conquer a city, we are unable to choose new production in any city, creating an unprogressable game. In addition, there is new...

    Bug Reports - Post Here!

Hi, folks. I'm having a similar or the same problem to the posters above. Once I conquer a city, I will be unable to choose new production in any city, creating an unprogressable game. Here are the relevant logs from Database: And here's what the bug actually looks like inside the city...

    Cities in Development (Obsolete)

Hello again, I just tried out a game using all of your new mod components (RtP, ExCE, CiD, CuDiv) as well as EUI. I was using the beta CP that was suggested, from the 13th. In addition, I am using Events and Decisions and Map Labels. First I'd like to say that I had a blast. I played...

    JFD's Rise to Power

Hi, JFD. I don't post very often, but I wanted to stop by to say again that you are a boon to the community. Your mods - and your collaborators' - are relentlessly excellent. I can safely say that I wouldn't even play the game without some of them. In addition, your continued perseverance in...

Light In The East: Civs Of The Orient(And Beyond)

COF, if you go into the community patch mod folder you should find in the Core Files a folder labeled PNM Mods DB. In there find the UI folder, and delete it. That should resolve the food icon problem.

    Cultural Diversity

It's not that they COULDN'T be split up that way, Idvhl - but this conversation keeps happening. The fact is that from a gameplay perspective less groupings but more significant groupings is more fun. In addition, from a historiographic perspective, it wouldn't make a great deal of sense to...

    JFD and Janboruta's Civilisations

Hey, JFD - I was thinking the other day and I have a little bit of an odd question. Since it seemed up your alley, just as a thought experiment, how do you think you would do a Hanseatic League civ? I'm just kind of curious - I was trying to think up ways to make a real 'hypercube' civ like...

    JFD's Rise to Power

For UI's, I second Consulate for the one and perhaps High Court or Law Academy for the other.

    JFD's Rise to Power

Hey, JFD! Had an excellent game with the Maori using the latest P&P and CP today. Just a couple questions I had: 1) Is it intended that one can select monasteries for religious beliefs but that monasteries are apparently only a hard-build building at Theology? I selected that belief, but could...

Light In The East: Civs Of The Orient(And Beyond)

What's funny, Urdnot, is that the Ainu society and economy DID revolve in many ways around the possession and ceremonial use of bears. :D Though perhaps we couldn't say that their economy relied on the TRADING of live bears.
