All good ideas, here is my wish: Add an embassy building that one can build and have the elder statesmen work there to get "influence points". At regular intervals high influence points means that a foreign power sends you free veteran troops, gold or goods.

I made a few complainy posts myself about the lack of a patch but truth be told I am not gonna bother anymore. Once Dale adds the achievements and the alternative victory conditions to AoD2, I know that Firaxis will not come up with a better update. For all I care they can take a year-long...

Hadn't played the game in a bit due to exams but 1.07 looks fantastic. One of my main gripes with the game (length after DoI) is finally addressed. Thanks again Snoopy / Dale. I don't think even Firaxis could have done a better job of taking care of all the issues.

The fact that there are no news from Fraxis after more then a month since the release is really starting to worry me. I normally trust Fraxis but they could at least acknowledge the problems and let us know that they are "working on it."

I don't play as much as I thought I would truth be told. Playing now and then with Dale's patch though. (Thanks!) Unfortunately, right now there are some things just don't make sense, and the main strength of Civilization has always been that it was realistic in a very fictional sort of way...
