    [modmodmod] The Sword of Islam Reborn

    In principle you could have the Ziyarids as a playable Zoroastrian civ.

    Suggestions and Requests

    Two suggestions for the mod: 1) Get rid of random city seccessions. They're arbitrary, unrealistic and bad for gameplay. Cities should not be able to magically break away for no reason immediately after being conquered. 2) The barb spamming should be toned down somewhat.

    RFC Classical World ++

    If this mod is still being worked on, the stability mechanic needs an overhaul; at the moment it just slaps the player with crippling arbitrary penalties for no reason.

    I've been trying the new map, and a problem is that Harrapa always pinches the Pyramids before Egypt can build it. I'd suggest making it so that the Pyramids and Great Sphinx require the Monarchy/Redistribution/Deification civic combo.

    A couple of suggestions regarding classical wonder resource requirements: -The Great Library and Great Lighthouse should require cotton (so Greece doesn't just build them immediately in Athens) -The Great Cothon should require ivory (likewise) -The Oracle should require wine (so Babylon doesn't...

    RFC Classical World ++

    The problem at the moment is that it just constantly decreases for no reason. The system should probably work such that civ stability values naturally tend towards 50. The current mechanic just constantly wrecks the game for no reason. Stability hits should only occur if something actually...

    RFC Classical World ++

    If you're reworking based off the most recent github version, then some comments/ideas: 1) The stability system needs an overhaul- as it stands it's an unrealistic and arbitrary mechanic that randomly hits civs with penalties for no reason. 2) The Numidian start should be nerfed so they don't...

    If anyone is still working on this mod

    The stability mechanic needs to be fixed. It's an incredibly unrealistic and arbitrary system that hands out random penalties for no reason (e.g. causing anarchy because you researched a new tech).

    Suggestions and Requests

    Regarding stability maps: 1) China should have Manchuria, Mongolia, Xinjiang and possibly Korea and Vietnam as historical/contested areas. 2) The areas around Paris, Madrid and Lisbon should be contested areas for Rome.

    Suggestions and Requests

    Three ideas: 1) The defections mechanic should be removed. It's ridiculously unrealistic and arbitrary- e.g. why would half the Persian army defect to the invading Arabs just because I refused to hand over a large amount of territory? 2) Razing cities shouldn't have a negative stability penalty...

    Defections need to go

    Oops, I meant to put it in the DoC area. In RFCE it's less of an issue (although it still is silly for e.g. Byzantine troops to defect en masse to the Arabs or Ottomans). So give new civs larger armies on spawn. That way they would actually have to conquer the territories that they did...

    Defections need to go

    The defection mechanic needs to be removed. It's extremely ahistorical and unrealistic and breaks game balance (e.g. if I'm playing as Persia, why would half my army randomly defect to Arab invaders because I refused to hand over Mesopotamia?)

    Second 1.15 Release Candidate

    Some civs should only spawn if conditions are met. Specifically: -The Mughals shouldn't spawn if India still exists and/or if there is no already-existing Islamic presence in India or Persia. -The Moors shouldn't spawn if Carthage still exists or if Rome still controls North Africa. -The...

    There needs to be a fix for Babylon stealing Egypt's historical wonders (Sphinx and Pyramids) and vice versa (Hanging Gardens and Ishtar Gates). I'd suggest making the Egyptian wonders require Egypt's starting civics (Monarchy and Redistribution) so that it's harder for Babylon to get them...

    Pie's Ancient Europe

    A couple of thoughts: 1) Currently some of the religion tech assignments don't fit. E.g. why do the Assyrians have Zoroastrianism? Historically AFAIK the Assyrians followed the same Mesopotamian religion as the Babylonians as both were Akkadian peoples. Also, why is Judaism researchable by...
