Well that worked about as well as I could have guessed or hoped. Looking back on it I bet Charlie was still pleased and therefore non an acceptable target, but if the computer can average among vassal I say we can too and therefore that bastard had to die.
It's too bad that this game...
Well between an unexpected grant coming in at work and Thanksgiving coming up next week I do not see myself getting a couple free hours to play this until December. :(
Looks good.
I won't be able to play until Monday or Tuesday. So I guess unless one of the mia's wants to take it you can wait that long or play another set.
My vote is for a huge back stab though. Our economy is in the crapper from all these troops and other than Charlie every other AI...
The starting area is high in hammer potential and relatively low in "easy" commerce. With the great equalizer available I would forget aiming for an early tech rate here and just pound some heads early and often.
Yeah good ole predictable computer. She sent the majority of her forces to reclaim the city and trickled a few through the jungle towards our river cities. Easily defeated by a drafted rifle but she did pillage our south western horses. Durnovaria will of course flip if we do not keep a...
Only played a few turns but very successful ones thankfully.
Crushed Boudica's army as we now sit atop her at a 1.4:1 power ratio. Also captured another outlier city from Hammy. A few pictures to sum it up.
Depending on what Charlie does we can end the war with Hammy...
Run both as Gliese said. With Marble TGL should be easy along with NE. Run 2 library scientists and you are set for GP at least until Lib. If you want a few more then you can run a few more, but this way you do not have to adopt caste just for the specialist slots.
As you said you cannot...
I stop caring about games once I feel they are won.
I guess I'm up by default so I'll try to clean up this war picture tomorrow some time. Looks pretty straight forward - just have to obliterate Boudica's stack.

Whether or not your game is "winnable" will depend in part to AI interactions that you have no real chance at affecting. Give it a go, but don't get upset if you run into a power house AI.
I can assure you Rusten knows what a cottage is.
This is why SE versus CE debates are dumb. A good player shows why running a couple scientists is a great idea even if these pop points could be put on cottages in a bureaucratic capital, but the notion gets shoved aside because he "made fun...
