Is there a way to get resources without building a city next to it? If not, is there a way to expand your borders, like you would in Civ5 with a general? Thanx!

Normally IA does not declare war on you unless you have a smaller army than he has. I'm not very sure if gold is taken into account. So prepare in means of bulding barraks, etc, but keep your army small, then once he declared war, buy units quicky... I usually have a very small army to cut...

The unit rocks for sure, but since the update a little less; Yea, it can heal outside your own borders. But there is no longer the 'auto repair even if it performs an action'. And pre update, it was possible.... :( Strange thing is, other naval unit still have it, like the frigate. I just love...

I usually play with the Netherlands, using a pack of Sea Beggars escorted with 2 frigates and a general. With fleets like this, you can totally take any coastal city. At first you need to be carefull with your frigrates, because they can't heal outsite... But since the brave new world update...

Why are advanced options never saved? I know there is a mod for it, but I was hoping they fixed it with G&K, no luck. I know there is a way to edit some ini file, but that will only do half I need. Can't be that hard :king: So let's have a little poll here;

I'm also looking for a ultra book which will play decently. You need a seperate graphics card, the intel 3000/4000 graphics simply won't cut it. Asus announced ultrabooks with seperate graphics cards, but there are not here jet... I don't think it's a officially a ultrabook; I'm currently...

On higher dificuty levels I allways use Pangea, simple because you need to meet as many civ's as soon as possible to drain them from their money
