I hear you, docbud, but whenever I play games with espionage turned off something doesn't feel right to me, and that alone makes the frustration of theft tolerable for me. I quite enjoy stealing when I'm not the tech leader, so I don't mind them stealing back when I'm starting to run away with...
I think this game has great potential already. I don't mind the graphics if it means that huge maps will be easily supported because of the simplicity. If the art ends up like that reddit screenshot, I'll gladly pre-order.
I usually play with at least 15 civs, 25 CS on maps larger than Standard. It's fun to compete for land, and watch weak civs get swallowed (or swallow them myself :mischief: ). Makes for more superpowers in the late game. And this is on King too. Back in my Prince days there was the same issue here.
I'll actually reroll if I get a start with the same resources as the start of my previous game. Otherwise I seem to get the late-game humdrum early on.

I have a few trans friends, it took a while but I've gotten used to the pronoun change. If anyone requests them, I will honor the request to the best of my ability. I fully view any transgender person as the gender they identify as, after the initial mental change-up.
Going off the GOP debate, I found Kasich's statement on the gay marriage ruling/having a hypothetical gay daughter to be thoughtful. It was refreshing given the sermons some of the candidates have preached on the topic.
Trump is a nice sideshow, but I won't discount him until after a bad...
I don't like reading books that lack substance. Nor do I like to write things that lack substance. If it makes me think, then I see it as good literature. If it accomplishes any combination of poll's options, and still makes me think, it's great literature.
I have a soft spot toward comedy...
