I often see you posting things like: "I was planning to add X in my modmod" or "I have altered X in my modmod" and other messages along those lines. So I am curious, how far along are you? I mean this in a purely non-confrontational way, I am just wondering what you are up to!
Keep BUG. Not only is it useful for streamlining some aspects of micromanaging (i.e. knowing when your cities are going to expand their boarders, increase/decrease in population, keeping track of Great People birth rate in your cities) there are a ton of interesting add ons like the Unit Naming...
It generally is, really. Sometimes I have to restart (like when I am playing Austrin (or whatever FF's new Wind-Civ is) and I get started in jungles) but the map generated is normally amazing/balanced.
I suggest you allow for civs to start anywhere, creates a more fantasy-world feeling...
Personally, I feel what you did for your first map (the massive 25 Civ one which I am using as an excuse to finally get a new computer in order to have it run smoother) in that you had the races in areas where it made sense lore/mechanics wise would be nice. Not to mention the overall flavour...
One question I have; the villages... Are they supposed to give those Techs? Because it seems that every third one I find gives me a new tech (and I am never that lucky. Ever.)
