    Oh I did build the GL. Without that, I dare not set any galleys with units in them to the task of transporting them to enemy grounds. But even with four movement points it was impossible to get across the 6 ocean tiles without leaving at least one galley in danger.

    By using 3 workers to build a road, in terms of worker turns (ie counting worker movement points used) we use 6 worker moves. Agreed. But in actual turns we get a road in just 2 turns.     Lone scientist research takes 50 turns in C3C. You might find it counter intuitive, but on the higher difficulty levels of automatically comes to mind.     Civ Assist works fine on Windows 7. In fact, I ran out for the first time on Win 7 only. Currently, I have it working absolutely fine on Windows 10 as well.
