I'm sure I once saw a post showing the python changes necessary to be able to switch civs more than once in a game. I think it also talked about the minimum distance requirement. Anyway, for the life of me I can't find it: so how do you do this?
Fair point, but Civ 4 runs well (before the modern age anyway) on the highest graphics, and since Civ 5 is SUPPOSED to have impressive scalability I'm hopin'.
I am somewhat worried about the whole resource hog thing. I have never used steam before, but for someone who plays on a laptop with an integrated card (the 9400M, so not *terrible*), every few megabytes is important. About how much does Steam slow down a game/computer?
Eh, I restarted. Nice to be patched, anyway.
And @Eugene, holy crap, they are indeed good. (I typed god by accident there, which is also pretty accurate.)
I downloaded this: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1
I haven't done any sort of patch, so I suppose I'm just at 0.41. If I patch midgame will there be savefile incompatibility?
By coastal, do you mean a water tile next to a ground tile or a ground tile next to a water tile?
I have tried both, without an option. :( Maybe I'm missing a tech?
