Trivial Things That Annoy You About Civ 5

Not being able to center on the currently active unit by middle-clicking Hotkey for mine isn't 'm' Frank Kafka

Query - Purchasing new civs via Steam

Nebu may be overpriced, but I don't think the Spain/Inca pack is that expensive actually. 5(4,99)€, which makes it, say, 2€ a civ and 1€ for the scenario, or 1,5€ a civ and 2€ for the scenario, whichever way you want to splice it. With that pricing, Warlords would've cost 18-21€ for the civs and...

    CiV Special Edition

I'm buying it, which so far has been a touch of death to any game's potential rise in value.

    Civ5 interface - 1st image

My first thought was wealth and that the 500 suggests a system similiar to Revolution. Economic victory?

    IGN Preview of CiV

I beg to differ. Religion was well implemented in the way that you could ignore it and still have fun, create your entire strategy around it or something between those extremes.

    Panzer General

Panzer General, Pacific General and Fantasy General were brilliant, others I haven't played but I doubt they're bad either. Just the right combination of depth and approachability. Only problems I had were with the fact that it didn't simulate sea warfare too well and it became a bit...

Infos from the new Computer Bild Spiele about Civ 5

The system didn't work at all in Rev however. It just forced you to use nothing but armies since lone units were nothing but cannon fodder to them.

PC Jeux take on Civ 5

If there must be futuristic stuff, I hope it'll be in the same way as in Rise of Nations. That game did it in style.

Infos from the new Computer Bild Spiele about Civ 5

As a Panzer General veteran, I can say that this new system definitely has its perks, especially in the later eras since now we'll get proper fronts, artillery that has a proper support role and zero stacks of doom. The only drawback is that the system may not work so well in the earlier eras...

I'm just going to say that I will be really disappointed if multiple leaders per civ are out. It was one of my favourite improvements in IV and the leader selections, for the most part, were perfect.

    Modern Barbarians

Couple of barbarian cities somehow managed to survive to modern era, even conquering one American city in the progress. I let them remain independent out of respect.

    Bizzare Behavior

Dunno if this is all that weird, but in my current game. (Standard map, 8 civs, no choosing of religion), Saladin and Alexander shared a continent. When I found them, Alex had already conquered Sal and become the holder of the Buddhist holy city, as that little icon next to him suggested. It...
