  • Australia? Land of the tinnie & barbie brigade I've heard :)

North or South coast? I've an aunt in Melbourne but she's pretty far gone with Alzheimers so it's impossible to really stay in touch. I've totally lost touch with my cousins which is a real shame in this day & age of Facebook, twitter et al.

I've also decided to attempt a comeback with Civ V. I never really got on with IV and just drifted back to my guitars as my main downtime activity.

I've some great memories of our SG attempts of old and it came as a bit of a shock that most of our early games are no longer on the board. I too have contacted Space and also AlanH but had forgotten NP. I'll have to look and see if he's still around.

Perhaps we could form a Seniors League (I think you must be about 50 now) and revisit old glories :)

Reprobate?? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

The kids are now teenagers and I'm just an embarrassment to them now, which is great because I can spend more time doing stuff I want to do. I've moved to Australia. It turns out that surfing is really difficult, particularly for geriatrics so I decided to take up Civ again instead. I would like to learn Civ V if I still have the mental capacity. I have also volunteered to create the Civ III GOTM games in Civ_Steves absence.

Anyway - how are you? Still playing? I've persuaded Space to drop in again. Maybe we could get hod of Northern Pike and play an SG for old times sake.

    Keep in touch.

    Tony.
Hi there you old reprobate :)

Good to hear from you after so long. How's life in the real world?
