Less than a century ago our top experts had us believing Asians and Africans were mentally inferior to us Westerners. Look how dumb those Asians have gotten now :rolleyes: It's just one more small, indirectly linked and highly disputable 'fact' for some to jam their giant prejudice into.

That China wants good relations with the EU and US is undoubtable. Economically, China relies more on them than they do on it, which ties into the second question. It needs markets for its exports and the very rich EU and US are great destinations for the goods from its growing manufacturing...

I read somewhere that all of the phone polls taken so far rely on land-line phone households only. Persons whose only means of personal telephone communications are through a cell phone never get polled.

They might have a back-up plan, but I doubt they'd be willing to even mention the possibility of a decline in economic performance before election day.

A lot of the people who decide to assassinate leaders are not operating with a full deck of cards. Assissinating Bush isn't something anyone would consider putting on their fridge's "To Do" list.

Good idea. Kudos. Maybe you could bring it up a notch and lobby for the introduction of mandatory critical thinking classes in high school.
