My Start was: Researched Writing, built GL. Free Tech: Iron Working.
Only 2 Iron nearby- had to be enough. Wu, instead of her usual early wonder-building way, started spreading cities early. One of them too close. I built a second city very close to that city, attacked with my 2 swordsmen and...
I won 1906, without selling cities.
My plan was to settle on all marble spots to benefit later from the "City with Wonder" SP.
As I also went for the Oracle, this didn't work out. Ramses settled on that great sugar/marble spot north of French capital, so I decided to clear my half of the map...
This mod doesn't work for me. City State Interfaces are completely messed up (some of them), and after a while of playing, I can't even open their window by clicking on them. Diplomacy window says that I haven't met any city state yet, and so on.
Is this mod multi-language compatible? I play...
I only discovered while playing that this map has a limit of 500 turns. Why? I expected to go through the whole history. Instead, the game finishes in the Middle Ages (Marathon). That's not suitable for a giant earth map with 34 Civs.
Because of this, it's a little bit pity that I can't finish...
You're right, Kalimakhus, it's there! :)
I'm always confused by the game's menu. I looked into singleplayer before, and there are three different directions for mods, in which is more or less the same content. None of them included "Expanded", and I wasn't near thinking that there could be...
I looked into every single menu, but it wasn't there. So I decided to put the files into the Custom Assets and just play a normal game with this mod. Everything was fine until Mechs came up. Then it happened that every unit I moved around had the graphic model of the mech laid over it. Different...
There is nowhere to see that coal plants would give :yuck: from the building. The mouseover says only "Gives 2 :yuck: from energy", that's it. But there is a difference, that's right. Just have tested this in the world builder: coal plants give 4 :yuck:, water plants only 2. So, maybe an...
When I completed the Great Dam yesterday, I noticed that in many of my cities there was sickness and hunger suddenly. A look into one of them revealed that they now have two sick faces from energy. So what? I thought that water power should be clean? What's the use of building water plants then?
I want to play this mod, but there's no such thing as "Expanded" in my scenario menu.
I play the german version of the game, can this be the reason for it?
Thank you.
I have another question. I play the German version of cIV, and
does not work, but I can see the mod name in the top right corner of the game menu. Is everything working fine and the "=== Better AI ===" just not implemented in all languages, or have I failed to install the mod correctly?
