so true so true... only bought Civ 5 gold upgrade cause it was 5 bucks on steam. Sure enough the new "Scenarios" are just custom maps and a bunch of settlers.
The thing is i'd gladly pay decent money to have a functioning historical scenario
There's only a couple that look like they had some effort put into it... I enjoyed 'Fall of Rome'
The rest are a custom map and thats it.. I don't even think there's a special way to play them. The 'New world' scenario is god awful Its a bunch of settlers in a Random spot in the Americas map...
Are there any ancient themed scenarios worth downloading along the type of Fall of Rome? Just got civ 5 Gold and was disappointed with the Ancient wonder scenario being more like a regular game in that you found cities and what not...I Know civ 4 and 3 had tons of em.. Any ideas?
so I upgraded my Civ 5 g&k to Gold via Steam
I seem to have all the nations but I cannot see any of the Cradle of Civilizaton maps... is there a special way to access these? I thought Cradle of Civilization MEsoptamia was at least a scenario
Any help?:crazyeye:
well that solved the first turn freeze... still plagued by the very common mid game freeze. piece of sh!t
I know you are frustrated but please do not intentionally avoid the autocensor.
I call bs on it not being the games fault. Any software that allows itself to be corrupted without recognizing its corrupted is cr@p . Tried deleting the stored Civ 5 software and it didnt help... about to try and reinstall steam.
ok now things have gotten even worse!!!!!!!!!
I cant even host a game.. whenever I try the game freezes after launch with nobody being able to move
What the ... getting pissed off by this game
For some reason whenever I host... game goes along fine up until around turn 200ish .. then I will lose everyone to drop and I'm all alone in the game against AI
Whats going on how do i fix this?
Win 7 64
AMD phenom 2 x 4
10gb RAM
Cable isp and wired modem
no DLC
I really think its a matter of processing power. My computer can host a 4 player game very well ... but on 6 it startes to chug and sputter and desynchs become more common.
I think something like the new six core intel procs would probably host a 6 player just fine.
Does anyone have a six core...
