Do AI leaders camp certain spots that they may want to settle? Pedro has had two warriors stood still for a good few turns, one of which is right on the spot my settler wants to go onto. I've been circling the spot for 3 turns, quite annoying.

Kinda baffled by a few things, are there in-depth guides to districts, amenities, food, trade-routes etc.?

Did golden ages always give a boost to production? I thought it used to be a bonus to growth, but I could be wrong. Also 'avoid growth' seems to prevent a city gaining a level, don't think it did that before.

They are, yes.

I wiped out the Dutch and took Amsterdam which had Buddhism. Can I not enhance that? I just got a great prophet and the only option it has is found a new religion. What I really want is the desert faith thingy, which no one has. Maybe new religion is the right course anyway.

I haven't played too much, or on too high a level, but I just met up with Monty in about 1500 on a King game, and he had nearly 5000! I don't think I've seen a four-figure balance before. In fact I'm not sure I've seen more than about 600/700 ish. What's the highest you've seen?

I tried this out and you don't, kind of annoying. What about if you have Engineering but not a granary in a city? And what about if you have engineering but haven't built a granary, do you get it when you build the granary? I would guess not, but I'm not sure. Also, if you fill out Piety, then...
