Hasn't the latest patch made it so that there are no civs to even choose from when the random civ is selected. Usually i still can click on random civ but this time around, the civ screen is blank.. oh firaxis you do us no favours.. :(

oh thanks sam.. I managed to figure it out.. I just never knew we had to set VFS to true as it wasnt covered in Kael's guide.. all sorted now.. its just a world builder/ scenario problem Im having now.. thanks..

Yea very true, I did however manage a workaround in my mod which included 4 different maps for each of the Civs. So even though you can't choose a Civ, you can at least choose a map for that Civ.

Or is there anyway to set starting points and modifying the era xml files to start at a different date and era, I modified the Civ5GlobalDefines.xml and the Civ5Eras.xml but everytime I start a new game It always starts at 4000BC in the ancient era. doesnt seem to work. Help?

Im not sure if you can do it in World Builder, but you could try modding the Civ5Leader_(LeaderName).xml files and add them to your modpack.. These would change the aggression settings for the individual leaders and they would be less likely to denounce and go to war with other civs.. Just edit...
