Does anyone have a link to a Civ 5 demo download?

Some reasons why I have decided to stop playing this game.

Ha ha....well said! If I didn't have to waste so many hours on sleep, I could have beaten diety by now :king:

Do I have the same game as you guys?

Sounds like the "Always Peace" option is on. Plus, I noticed, (on BTS anyway) if you click an option like "no barbarians", etc it will stay that way on your next game as well, unless you de-select it. You may not even know the Peace selection is on...it's at the bottom of the game options list &...

You are correct, it's in the middle of the Byzantine empire.

    Holy Mountain Quest?

Precisely why I never go for quests. Are there any quests worth going after?

    Disband units or upgrade?

That's a good idea, I will have to keep that one in mind.

    The Apostolic Palace Guide

I think Antioch is usually a Holy Roman city, which isn't a civ in my current game. So I don't think it was captured. I could be wrong tho. I was shocked to see a barb city that late in my game, it just slipped through for centuries & I never noticed it. It should be noted, the barb city never...

    The Apostolic Palace Guide

This applies to the Barbarian cities as well. In my current game, the barb city of Antioch has a pop of 9, and also has 9 votes (and no buildings). The city was converted to the AP religion sometime during the game. I totally missed this city most of the game because it was shaded black & was...

    The Apostolic Palace Guide

Is it possible for a Barbarian city to have votes? I think the current game I'm playing has a Barbarian city with a pop 9 with 9 votes? or was I seeing things? I'll take a look at the game save when I get home tonight

    Why did YOU get civ?

Back in 1989 I bought Pirates! and became addicted to that game. After that, I bought anything with Sid Meiers name on it. Strangely enough, I never bought Civ I . I can't remember why I started with Civ II

    Age of Civ Players?

It's ok, I had to use a calculator to figure out what 7 x 7 was! :crazyeye: My kid should be able to beat me at civ in a few years, I can easily beat him now...but he's only 6....in human years

    Age of Civ Players?

One dog year = 7 human years (a sad attempt at humor)

    Age of Civ Players?

    I'm 7 years old......in dog years

Which came first, the Sword or the Shield?

I really don't think this statement applies to the people on this site. I like reading other people's opinions and game strategies. I've never encountered an elite attitude from the many expert players on this site, many will give a new player advice without sounding like know-it-alls. Your...
