Thanks, but that doesn't tally with my experience - I feel certain I've had forest growth on a railroaded tile at least, not sure about roaded. Currently on BTS 3.19, but I think it happened before the patch as well.
Can anyone else confirm this, or have I just dreamt it ?
I wasn't aware that roading (or railroading) a tile reduced the chances of forest growth. By how much does it affect those chances ? Is railroading worse ?
You need to edit your CivilizationIV.ini file so that it contains the following setting:
; Enable voice over IP capture and playback
EnableVoice = 0
(You'll probably find it currently has EnableVoice = 1).
The file will probably be somewhere like ...My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization IV...
If you choose "Build Trade Network (Automated)" they will just build roads/railroads and those improvements necessary to hook up any resources not already connected. So you can use that option to get them to railroad up your entire civilization without building farms and the like.
Hi Everybody !
I'm a long time Civ player, hooked since Civ I really. Just recently found this site with the advent of Civ IV. Looks like a great site.
