Just started playing with this mod and I tried to build the Pyramids for the settler. Focused on pottery then trade and I barely got half way to them before the AI built them. I have tried this about three times so far and can't seem to build them and am wondering if its just bad luck or the AI...
When I meant click mods again I meant I had to click the button on the main menu that said Mods. Instead of just being loaded back to the main menu with the mods installed.
I have some mods running and every time I retire or exit to main menu instead of just putting be back to the mods it boots me back to the original main menu and I have to click mods again and load up.
This has been my biggest problem with civ games as that all the difficulty does is cheat. It doesn't make the AI play better it just gives them a headstart and says catch up. Once you catch up it just becomes a normal game with the AI having an advantage.
Why isn't the shoshone top tier? The ability to pick what you want from goodie huts and the insane starting borders you have on cities can easily let you wall off a side of the map from the AI.
Before I declare a war what is a good unit make up to have? How many seige, ranged, horse, melee should I have? Reason why I asked is I started a war with about 10 units mixed eith the above and it took a while.
Seems like the AI in every civ game sucks. Best bet is to find people who will play online at a set time and date once a week for like 4-5hours at a time.
