what about making something of this sort for the grigori only? I've always found them somewhat at the whim of the armageddon counter since they can't adopt a religion. Thematically it works too, since you can sort of see Cassiel (or one of his agents, maybe an adventurer only promotion)...

I can't really see any of these characters being coerced by the civilizations of man - these are after all, angels of the same stature as basium and hyborem, temporarily imprisoned for challenging the will of their gods (Brigit was archangel to the most powerful of the gods before her fall) -...

on the subject of angels, why are basium and casiel portrayed without wings whereas all the others have wings (including hyborem and sabathiel)?

Hyborem? I think thats him on the opening menu screen, plus his leaderhead and his unit.

i liked the system they had back in civ 1 where you could build a caravan that could act as a food trade route between cities. basically you build it in a city with a lot of food, and could have it move one food to another city.

the gist of it is that you pay a certain amount of gold and receive an animal of your choosing in your city.

If you look at Capria's pedia entry, it seems to say that he does go through the portal to creation - Donal stayed behind in order that sabathiel could stay with the Bannor.
