I have no unit UI either :(. Have tried clearing the cache (deleting the My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/cache folder), verifying the integrity of game cache via steam and restarting. Hasn't helped. This is the first time I'm installing the mod, so there shouldn't be any conflicts.
And yes...
The following bug is probably not RoMs fault, but I don't know which mod is the cause of it. I'm hoping zappara will know :).
In a MP game (revolutions turned off), when I tried to sell a building in a city (via Ctrl+a) the game went out of sync and spammed approximately 8-10 lines of errors...
The folder in the rar archive (RiseOfMankind2.8Full.rar) is called Rise of Mankind. In your case I bet it's in the Rise Of Mankind full 2.8 folder you've extracted the mod to.
Another bug:
When I create a new custom game the new resource overview shows just fine. However, if I then quit to the main menu and start a new game the resource overview looks like the attached screenshot. Every time I quit to the main menu and start a new game the resource display is pushed...
I might have discovered a bug. When I meet new civilizations I don't see any text (see screenshot). I manually cleared the cache before I started the game. Anything else I need to upload?
Awesome! I'm downloading as we speak and I'll post any bugs I find. You've just made my day! :D
EDIT: Hmm, the torrent doesn't seem to find any peers? :-/ Are you seeding?
Does anyone know whether it means that I have to uncheck just the Revolutions options (TechDiffusion and DynamicCivNames) or do I have to disable the entire RevDCM? And, if I have to disable RevDCM, how can you do that? Can you do it from within the game or can I change some .ini files?
I...
I seem to have a problem when I start a new AND game. I don't have any icons (see attached screen shot). I guess it's because the CvScreensInterface fails. My info:
RoM 2.81 full + AND standard
Windows 7
Manually cleared cache
Any ideas to what can be wrong?
stickciv -> Nope, I've never built a coal plant either. I've always managed to build the Dam wonder. And with Future tech 9 at 1990 I haven't had unhealthiness either.
Well, it seems like you live in the USA. Katrina hasn't really changed anything noticeable in our economy. And the bird flu has always been around, it's just the media that has hyped it up (I'm no expert here, but that's what I've heard from a veterinarian).
Regarding the second part of your...
Agree with worldspawn. I've never built nuclear reactors and no wars have been going on for a couple of centuries. Still I got the global warming warning every 3 turns or so. I'm in the year of 1990 or so and at the time when the global warming warnings became frequent, noone had constructed...
