    Unupgraded T1 Melee affinity units why week originally have one thin go for them - they are cheap to produce production wise. So, they become cheap expendable folder, not useless. Upgraded version become effective and true version is a monster.

    Yes, he is correct. Defense bonus - how many move Points were left on last turn. Offence bonus - how many left before attacking. So why most units can only attack one's, some can attack and move after and some can attack 2 times. So, defense bonus is simply how many move points left at the end...

    I agree with Acken, less bonuses more ai! But to original poster, AI always had problems with water maps. Continents (terran ) or single continent worlds will provide more challenge.
