You guys make me feel like I suck at this game. I thought I was doing well when conquering half a continent :p

The sad thing is that I can't win a UHV with Japan or Aztecs :P I think Japan has it easy if China and Rome collapse. The hardest one is getting top score. And China has it really tough when the Mongols spawn or if they fail to build the Great Wall.

It would be a little fun.. maybe instead of getting exiled to another country, you get exiled as leader of a barbarian tribe a few tiles outside the civ that conquered your capital. That would be lovely, lol. IMHO, the barbarians could be a little too powerful though. I mean, if all the barbs...

Freeing Rome from the barbaric, pagan Romans doesn't sound all that fishy :D I don't actually go for a 'personal crusade' to Jerusalem when I play. I go for Rome and try to liberate Rome and use it to influence the rest of the world :P I actually did it with Spain on Emperor difficulty once...

Hmm.. I've never tried capturing him. He's not completely useless.. you could use him as the most elite of guards. If you have to move him, you can probably teleport him late in the game. Lazy Acheron :p

Ooh.. 2006 thread discussing flying units. I don't think there's much of a chance of airships, buddy :p I'd like to see Eagles and Flying Zeppelins ala Fantasy Wars though :)
