    Make Civ More Like History

    12. New tech : Fire. Until you discover it, you'd play with a black screen. 13. No multiplayer Civ game allowed until you found The Internet. 14. The Great Library, The Mausoleum of Mausollos, The Colossus etc... would be destroyed by a "random" event in every game ... not so random, uh ...

    Odeons

You'll tell your teacher that it's not because there are Odeons in the Roman empire that it means they created them. Romans have conquered many territories and stolen some knowledge, including the greek odeons. The first greek odeon (Athens) was built about 400 years before the first roman one...

    Favorite Naval Civ

Portugal if it's possible to spam coastal cities. Joao's traits are just excellent for city spamming and if coastal the feitorias are wonderful for economy. I could have said Netherlands, but I just hate playing them. I hate Willem

    Capitulation Mechanics...

I don't exactly understand what you're trying to do, but as far as I remember, capitulation has nothing to do with your diplomacy standing. As many pointed it out in other threads, it has to do with raw power (# of units, # of cities, territory size ...) and with the amount of units you killed.

"Boudica of the Romans" an exploit or not

So in your book, a pretorian rush, Specialist economy, a quechua rush etc... are exploits. Basically, anything you do in the game could be an exploit. Playing at settler level is an exploit too then :king:

"Boudica of the Romans" an exploit or not

Why would it be an exploit ? People are so stubborn

espionage: do you change the slider?

Same here. Once my money is flowing in with Research slider at 100%, I just put Espionnage slider to 10%. My main interest in this is to see all the AI cities + defenses, especially the ones I met late in game. When I'm preparing a war, I run Espionnage slider at 100% for a couple turns (5 to...

"Boudica of the Romans" an exploit or not

Cheating would be opening the WB and adding iron in your capital's fat cross. Exploiting would be finding a bug and abusing it to win. Using Boudica of the Romans is none of those. It's a possible combination allowed by the unrestricted leaders option and which of course could be (and...

    Col is overrated

    1. Yes, you automatically get an additionnal trade route per city. 2. Good question. I'd like to know an explanation too as it interests me big time. I'm also wondering if Mercantilism is any good.

    Best Seafood Capital Ever?!

Really nice start :) Not the best one I've seen though. Best start I've seen was for the AI, Athens had 2 fish, 1 clam, 1 crab and 1 petrol in the sea and added to that 3 floodplains+river and 2 gold mines
