I mean, do you get anything done when you have to manage 15+ cities? :p
I only play emperor, and then 8-12 is a good amount, not to mention you run out of space if you don't warmonger. settler costs becomes too much as well (even with monumentality).
In my portugal game I had like 15, but that...
I always build it in my first city, but I guess I should look into to building it i my second. my second city usually is a forward settle to an AI rather than looking at the amount of chops.
So stupid question, how do you reliably get Pol P around t55? go scout-settler-monument?
I tend to go builder for my 3rd, because at that time you can actually work the tile and with the boost for craftmanship I get a small army (I tend to play with Barbarian mode cause I like the extra city...
Below average. Too many gimmicky modes that stop being interesting after 2 playthroughs, and not enough deep changes/additions. There needs to be something like an economic victory, or a global market system.
The civs themself were ok, although civs like GC and byzantium are stupidly...
No, now I'm a bit further in my game and explored the ocean, you see a lot of badly placed citystates. Offcours the AI never bothers to explore there, so it's easy suzerain bonus....
I know the AI in the base game isnt great, but they are even worse in all the special gamemodes...
I don't know if its just bad luck, but I'm now in my 2nd game, and I've never been able to hire a unique unit, just standard warrior/swordsman/quadrireme/horseman. And then the AI just disperses the clan so you never get to see them grow to CS...
I play on emperor and if you have civs like russia or greece in the game, you defo won't get any of the early great writers.
aside from kristina, all the other civs you have rolled are more science or military focussed. And kristina AI obviously doesnt know she is culture focussed...
on the topic of national parks and the tourism output, what is the conversion rate/ rating? Is a national park as good as a themed museum? or a seaside resort?
I do a bit of everything when i go for a cultural victory (as you need the faith anyway for rockbands), but I never quite know how to...
