C5- What does the picture show?

According to the source ,the picture shown is dated ca. 1618 A.D. So,if it wasn´t painted by a guy with quite solid precognition skills, it should depict Abbas I. Perhaps I shouldn´t have named the pictures "AbbasI" and "AbbasII " ;)

C5- What does the picture show?

Could well be him. I looked at how he was depicted in a CIV V mod and if you see the white fur applications on his shoulders, they may be visible also in "C5" . If you imagine the figure being a bit closer to the background ( the inner wall of the maidan ) it might also explain the background...

Recognizable? Really? I mean, if you look at Monty in the video would you have recognized him from his picture on the board? I certainly not. In my opinion the figure shown in the video was quite likely inspired by this sculpture,if you look at the "eyed" helmet with "ears" , feather cap and...

    Screenshot analysis!

At least it would be a nice touch to the game if they would put some of the archeological sites in coastal waters ( like shipwrecks of ancient naval battles ) which could only be salvaged if you discovered a neccesary technology. But I doubt it somewhat.

Next ( and hopefully last ) try at "B5" : Obviously you had to look at it a bit different than apparently most people do. Compare the shadow areas. The black "slits" (eyes ) the shadow under and right of the nose and under the chin. Then compare the brightest ( less yellowish )...

Ok, let me put up another suggestion for "C5". Since it seems that everyone sees a different headdress here,it might as well be a bit funny thing like the guy in this picture wears. This picture is described as Mayan leader.Since the original artwork showing Mayan leaders isn´t really...

If we go on the inspirational level, then things could get tricky indeed.... Look at this site: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/81768549459593385/ Here you will find good old Tomyris (a bit down in the rightmost column ) described as " Sassanid female warrior" . So maybe the Persians are...

Just googled it myself.I found the picture and it links to a site for Halloween costumes designs as "Queen Tomyris costume". I hope they don´t do all their research work by this "method" .

This is really a bit strange that they took a depiction which is described as a "Scythian noblewoman " in the book , when ,on the very next page in this book, there is a depiction of a woman described in the Text as "Scythian Queen ". Maybe the first picture was additionally published somewhere...

Its simply an enlarged and "unsmoothened" version of the picture. I didn´t took it from the original video but took it from a picture posted somewhere down the thread.Does it really look that different to you ?

Actually , in "C5" I can´t see feathered caps, turbans, horses (?) or anything else like that just because it should be there. The original pictures are blurry but not distorting and, if compared to the 100% originals, reasonably detailed to see all exept minor details. So, I have no reason to...

No.In the Alphabet I learned, it doesn`t fit. So, since the discussion around "B5" gets a bit to Tamaresque for my liking and to give you guys food for discussion for the next ,lets say, ten pages I would suggest the Graeco - Indian Kingdom and Menander I. as ruler for "B5". Unfortunately I...
