I think each civ should get a land UU AND a sea/air UU. For instance, the Vikings should have Berserk and Longship. The English should get the Man-of-War and the Longbowman. The US should get Navy SEALS and F-whatever you want. The Chinese should get the Bamboo Gunmen (they invented gunpowder...

I think the reason we think this is a problem is because we're thinking in civ 3 terms, civ 4 may have a few differant ancient deffence units.
