    King Solomon's Mines - Location

seeing as it was added for the purposes of the scramble for africa scenario, im going to go with saying its the zimbabwe one... also cause if thats true, then africa will get slightly less boring in tsl earth maps.

    First thing you'll do?

play a game on a rather balenced map (contenents or terra, maybe) with the 9 new civs, plus all the civs that are being changed, playing as the new civ that seems the most fun to me. (right now, its morrocco, but that changes on a whim)

What additional civilizations do you want in Civilization 5? [Post-BNW Edition]

just a note on the map: i notice, finally, that the map is actually pretty complete, everywhere but canada, central asia, argentina, !africa! and australia has some color on it (well there are other white spots but they're small) suprisingly good work, firaxis

    Shoshone civilization, leader Pocatello

Is this... trolling? oh how i hope you arn't trolling its most definitely trolling. or sarcasm. or whatever ON TOPIC: the shoshone, huh? i cant say ive ever heard of them, (damn you eurocentric history class) but from what i can tell they seem like the Sioux but less marketable? +1 for...

Which of the ORIGINAL civilizations deserve a UA/UU/UB change the most?

i voted for india (the penalty) and i would have voted for the dutch if they were in the poll. i mean, the name is almost certanly getting changes what with the new east india company nat. wonder, and the fact that their UA is basically a bazaar makes me think that that should change too.

Betting and Speculation - The "Entirely Separate Hypercube" Civ!

my guess? Nomadic plains indian civ, with some kind of cheap, movable mini-cities instead of the big ones we are used to. its probably the Sioux, as they are well known and nomadic. of course, how that works is another story, as you'd have to figure out what happens if its conquered, how it...

Most Exciting Civ (May 17th Edition)

i chose assyria, cause being able to negate any tech advantages the opponent has sounds awesome. plus, if you're going for a domination victory you'll be able to fucus on military units instead of also building up science, just hink of the beakers you'll save

New Hands-On Gameplay Preview (Morocco/Indonesia, Tech Tree, & more)

so the appearance of Cahokia rules out the Mississippians as an option for the native american civ. sucks because they were my number 1 native civ. looks like the Sioux are likely to be filling that slot (alphabet theory and the fact that they are well known), although i can still hope, as i...

    Enter a Brave New World

YAY! these last few weeks have been pretty information starved, so this is great... i hope it gives a lot of new info though, as the way they describe it suggests that theres probably going to be a bit of old point rehashing. :(

    [Speculation] Indonesia/Majapahit/Srivijaya

Yea, i think indonesia is highly unlikely now that portugal has been stated to be the only naval trade focused civ in the game, though i do think they would have been a great way to give asia more and varied representation

    Ideology Preference

im basing this off a mix of playstyles and history. austria is for 1 not the most militaristic of civs, prefering peaceful conquest, and i believe that during the cold war, where most of the ideological stuff will come into play, they were on the side of freedom. i wasnt so sure of germany, as...

    Which BNW Civ are you excited about?{April Edition}

im going to say assyria, as my main problem with playing militaristically is that building a lot of units will take away from the buildings you can produce, which hurts science, which you need to get a better military, and as such a military/science civ sounds very useful and fun,

    Ideology Preference

i like this a lot, i was just thinking about it actually. in alphabetical order ima go with: America: Freedom (duh) Arabia: Autocracy? (not sure if this or Order) Assyria: Autocracy because its military Austria: Freedom based on its modern government Aztecs: Autocracy Babylon: Autocracy...

    Impi and the mysterious Axeman

Here's my question: why cant the axeman just be a new barbarian unit? is that so hard to believe? i know speculation is fun, but all these axeman theories are getting a little out of hand.
