    It's pretty good. I am on my third game with Romans (2 first crashed repeatedly at around 280 turns) and although I'm not as rich as Chinese og Happy as Indian, the production bonus is really cool. I mean 25% production bonus for all other citys aslong as you build the buildings in your capital...

    I played another game and once again it starts crashing at ~280 turns. I think I have to try a game without any MODS. Appreciate the help and your MOD pack is great.

    I was able to start a game with large map instead (with the epic - fast production). So might have something to do with Ram (I have 4 GB Ram on a windows7 x64). Don't think it's the MOD, it's probably just the game itself. The game eventually crashed (repeatedly) on me at turn 287 :( Reloads...

    I "crash" (stop loading) when i use the following setup: Romans on Small continents, huge map and immortal setting with epic (faster production). However it works, if I choose Epic (the standard)

    Upgrading is far better than producing.. if you have the cash. Another design flaw among countless others imo. I produced a lot of the double attack chinese crossbowmen, just to make sure I had plenty for upgrades.. who doesn't like double attack mech infantry :)

    Try playing China and make papermakers in each city and use tradeposts. I have been at +100-250g most of the game (without being in Golden Age).

    Yes, you need a transport. Example: 2 continents on huge map. You want to take your army to the other continent. Moving 2 tiles at a time with embarked units is not my idea of fun... If transports in Civ4 was tedious, what is moving 20 units individually 2 tiles at a time, while protecting...
