    Chinese Unification for BtS 3.19

Too bad this mod never recieved any sort of community update or further work on it. It was one of my favourite mods when it came out.

Is it currently possible to play DoC in Linux?

Is Civ VI is garbage as I remember Civ V being on release? I guess they've stuck with their 1-unit-per-tile mantra?

Settlers - how do they work?

This is certainly a new an interesting feature, makes sense, I remember near the end of any age trying to decide whether settling any new city was worth it, usually it wasn't unless you were trying to block off or cheese a neighbour.

    Suggestion for American cities?

Central America and the Caribbean: Wow, look at that AI Russia! Were you playing as them before America spawned? I remember them collapsing constantly last time I played this mod.

    Suggestion for American cities?

I still really like the idea of America's city-style and naming to be dependent upon spawn on the dominant power on the Eastern seaboard, but I don't know how codeable that is. I guess it's a lot of work and I think Leoreth leans more towards favouring historical outcomes than potential...

    [Development] Larger Map Phase I

I was going to say the same thing, a nice antidote to having the AI explore vast areas of useless empty land, as well as cutting off access to East Asia via Europe (alongside deserts/barbarians). Also this has certainly been asked before (haven't been here in a long time), but I don't know...

Mechanics discussion in Latin America / South America

Ok, I changed my mind about Colombia now... I now think it should be removed.

Civilisations Collapse far too frequently and easily

I'm having far too many games where nearly the entire world around me collapses into Independents, often these civilisations aren't even at war or under much barbarian pressure, they just explode to a series of checks the AI is incapable of understanding. What's especially frustrating in...

Stability Collapse sudden, arbitrary and not at all fun

This reminds of another thing.. regarding the AI, collapses and rebirths seem to happen with ridiculous frequency in the current build. I had a China game where I saw Korea collapse and respawn not less than five (5) times, the final occurrence of which ruined my game because they respawned with...

    Adding new African civs?

Zulu is the only possible new African embryonic Civilisation outside of the Sahel/Ethiopia even worth considering of the name, Congo is already a huge stretch as it is, I mean they lacked even writing or the wheel. It's perfectly fine for some parts of the map to be empty for later settlers, I'd...

    Civilisation Attributes open discussion

Babylon: I think incorporating some sort of conquest goal wouldn't be amiss, as people have mentioned before. Honestly, although I know the lack of turns in the Ancient Era probably makes it impossible, the lack of variety or dynamism in the pre-Achaemenid Near-East always bothered me, with...

Is it Possible to Take Over the World?

Somebody did it as France years ago, basically he kept repeatedly collapsing and reconquering the world several times over until he got a Conquest Victory. But from what I've experienced of the new stability mechanics, that's probably totally impossible now.

Stability Collapse sudden, arbitrary and not at all fun

Ok yes, its reasonable, I just remember me and a lot of other people having fun with stupid 'squatting' strategies back in the day. Speaking of Phoenicia in particular, it's not totally far-fetched, considering the tin-trade and (admittedly fringe) theories elaborating on the many mysterious...

Stability Collapse sudden, arbitrary and not at all fun

Well I can only assume it was intentional to make old ahistorical gameplay styles impossible, I tried squatting in England as Carthage and randomly collapsed into nothingness after building 2 wonders there.

Stability Collapse sudden, arbitrary and not at all fun

I think this is it. I should say there's nothing particularly unusual code-wise, but these sudden collapses are really irritating. I recall last time I played this mod, the player would collapse back to a few cities in his core area, instead of just losing every single city on the map and...
