Well, I haven't delved into the source code too much, but the error indeed pops up only with a debug-DLL because FAssert is active only if the 'state' is 'debug'. The assertion error actually has been prevented by the next line, where iValue is forced to be not larger than MAX_SHORT. (...

Maybe you need to set the screencap format to .bmp, and convert it to JPEG externally (i.e., use another program).

Of course, the flip side is that Mansa Musa or Zara Yaqob will most likely steamroll you, tech-wise [emoji13]

Aaaand... another almost-ragequit. Played as Monty, got good start on a peninsula... but access to the mainland of the Old World (I'm playing Terra map) is through the north edge (tundra land), and Toku is blocking my way. It doesn't have to be a ragequit, but somewhere along the way Toku...

Happened to me several times. And yes, it was like once a month. Making the file Read-Only might not be enough; I think one must go into the security settings, and Deny Write for Everyone. This might cause the game to break, though, so I don't really recommend this. So, I'd just suck it up --...

Just ragequitted a game when I realized that all Copper and Iron deposits are on the *other* side of Korea+Roman culture areas. I'm stuck on a peninsula without Copper or Iron or Marble.

Just a thought: For me, the "DRAFT" button is butt-fugly... Maybe you can 'skin' that button? And while you're at it... the three "rush" buttons on top (draft, whip, pay) might be collapsible into one row of three buttons; that will give you an additional row for your Good Things To Come™ ;)

So it now renders Slavery civic much less powerful then?
