I feel like this been talked about a few times in the past but no one ever ends up starting the thread. Its a pain picking a map and organizing the voting system and all of that stuff. That being said, I am ready to play as soon as someone starts up this bad boy.

I tried this strategy once with ragnar on immortal. I focused on getting cottages up and running and getting my infra built in time to rush-buy cuirassiers. The plan worked but the struggle was getting all of the infrastructure built in time for the rush since my main 3 cities were all cottage...

I've always found that steel is a bit more safe and solid if you even in tech or behind. If you are ahead enough then cuirs>cavalry is good.

Cuirs would work up to immortal I think. There are plenty of ways to get either horses or iron if you don't have one of them. And if you're stuck without either? Well cuirs are just about on the way to rifles anyway with a small detour for MT. On deity I'd probably aim for cannons rather...

I think most people would do something like ag>BW>writing>music>lib>Cuirassiers>win or something to that effect.
