    Bug with Natural Disasters?

I wondered if anyone else experienced this too. I started my second game as Incas, settled Kuzco next to a volcano and a river. On turn 8-ish, the river had flooded 3 times in a row. Right after that, the volcano errupted 3 times in a row. Now placing my sweet terrace farms, I had 4 hill tiles...

    [GS] Sneak Peek 4/2

Well, I mean... generally speaking, sure there are some leaders who ruled several nations... but how many are so iconic they should appear in the VIP list of civilization leaders? Charlemagne and Kubilai Khan are the only obes IMHO. But this is subjective I concede.

By the way, this presumed feature of leaders available for 2 civs seems a bit gimmicky to me... can you guys think about like 10 leaders in the world history for who that model would be relevant?

The question remains of: is she gonna lead England, France or both?

Harbors do not generates GM points. Admirals are useless anyway, since AI cannot deal with naval warfare anyway and they do not provide the same bonuses as GM.

The settler bonus comes at the cost of building a Harbor which you do not want and comes late in tech tree. You are probably better off just building settlers right off the bat.

Ok: instant lowest tier civilization. Incredibly weak. The production bonus and extra trade routes are ok, but the production bonus willapply to 1-2 districts. Meh. Cothon is super weak. Bireme gets obsolete super fast on deity. Will probably be on top 5 of worst civilizations unfortunately...

    [GS] Ottomans Livestream Discussion

Am I the only one being disappointed by these livestreams? That is the third or fourth one in a row where they don't reveal anything about mechanics... 2 weeks left and we still haven't seen things like 4-tier governments or the new science victory conditions.

    1. It does not consume population in conquered cities, i.e. most of your cities as a domination civ. 2. You should build bazaars everywhere during renaissance so that you can purchase janissaries instead of producing them.

The Bazaar is purely domination IMHO: amenities and strategic resources are there to support your war effort. So is Ibrahim: production towards military units, less grievances, less loyalty issues in conquered cities. Yes, Sully is a Zulu-like leader.

    Quick Questions and Answers

You probably clicked on « ignore » (don’t remember the exact term) when you had the opportunity to get one. This means you have to wait for someone else to pick this one GW, for the run for the next GW to be initialized.

Brazil Arguably Has Better Science than Korea

Not to mention, 1. to place a campus in the middle of rainforest you need bronze working... this hurts your early placement of potential +6 campuses and 2. when you go for science victory, you need a lot of production... and rainforest cannot be improved. So at some point in mid-game, you are...

[GS] Gathering Storm Screenshots Discussion Thread

Statue of Zeus, Notre Dame, Borobudur, Mosque of Djenne and Neuschwanstein are on top of my list. Even with a third expansion, I have little hope to see them all modelized in the end :-(
