I just happened to make a good guess. But I remembered, before the crashes occured I placed Veneke's standard world map file in my maps folder, and I should've placed it in the mods folder. And that caused the crashes

I FOUND THE PROBLEM! It was a bad map file!

First thing I tried, but hasn't helped :( I opened a ticket with 2K support a week ago and we still haven't found a solution

I have this exact same problem. I've been googling a ton of solutions and nothing works! I bought the game a week after release and now just a few days it ago it keeps on crashing. I launch civ 5, a black screen appears, Windows 7 says it crashed. Please Help Us! :)

How can I use this Mod for a scenario? Because I cant go to Advanced Setup when Im playing a scenario
