Just came to say I've been having the same issues with TECH_FIRE and RESEARCH as the person on the other page. I don't think anything was wrong with 1079 on my PC.

I downloaded the latest version along with the MCP. I extracted the patch to the AND2 folder however I was given the Cavalry error for the civs which the patch is intended to fix.

The Shwedagon Paya isn't allowing me to choose all Religion civics. It did when I built it, but after saving and reloading it no longer does. Ctrl-Shift-T doesn't fix it.
I ran into this bug with Totestra before. I believe it's something to do with AND2 that stops it from working. I just used Perfect World 2, I think both are very similar.
Is it normal for AIs to settle their second/third cities 6+ tiles from their capitols? They don't seem to be having any instability issues with these cities either.

It's not caused by any of that. The game acts as if Movement Limits wasn't even selected. Terrain damage still applies (desert, ice, etc.) if enabled, but with no regard to Movement Limits.

I'm back from a hiatus. I just want to know if the Movement Limits bug was ever addressed? I had an issue with movement limits only sometimes being activated. The issue is still in my games. Thanks. :)

Can I ask though, I notice when settling my first city that I have 4 turns of Anarchy for high taxes. Is this normal?

I'll find some other way of dealing with the unwanted cities, maybe razing them completely, or so much that it'll be more of a burden than asset.
