Can someone come up with a mod to deal with these "exploits" in a reasonable manner, without restricting strategy or fundamentally changing anything, but with balancing some numbers?
For a while I was playing with only ROM, and I remember Ghandi always dieing really quick because he'd get taken over by rebels. I don't know if that still occurs with this patch though.
I don't see the need for them to try to keep an E rating. It's not as if there's a bunch of 6 year olds playing Civ whose mom's won't let them play a 'T' game or anything like that. It's pretty much just teenagers and adults.
I'm not sure if I'm the only person who didn't realize this from the beginning or what, but I'm seeing this...
While being allowed to go diagonally, Civ4 was effectively octagonal. At first glance it seems as logistics becomes easier in Civ5 but it in fact becomes harder.
When I install this I get the black squares for terrain. I saw a post about it in the ROM forum and they said to use the full or light version, but it works with the mega version without this on it. I'm gonna try the full version first though.
